So, I Began to Practice…

Tohei Sensei asked me if I knew how to tumble… and the next thing I knew I was flying through the air; and I didn’t how he did it. I didn’t have uncomfortable feeling, any sensation of wanting to resist anything. It was just a feeling of going… Woo-Hoo!  through the air… and I tumbled. The next thing thought after I tumbled is… what the heck is this? Here is this little man… and he threw me like nothing. I never thought that nobody could throw me, I just thought we’d have a little something, something I could feel and maybe in a moment I could resist something. But there was nothing to resist, there was just Woo-Hoo! – and I tumbled. So then I thought, whatever this is, I want to learn something about this, and so I Began to Practice.
